the rob report, part deux

Hey Folks,

Hope you're all doing very well. I'm stunned at how fast the time has passed--almost one year since we left the halls of NCB and the questionable Grad Club food.

In the news from Winnipeg, I recently quit my old job and started a contract gig as a coordinator with MARIA, the Manitoba Audio Recording Industry Association. I'm working with musicians on career development stuff such as how to negotiate a record deal and how to apply for funding. It's decent so far, although there's not a lot of writing involved so I'm trying to chase down some freelancing too.

I'm also planning on visiting T.O. for a few days at the start of May. I'm thinking about organizing a night of belated b-day boozin’, likely on May 5th (not in London or at Poachers this time, unfortunately). I'll post details once I figure them out.
